While anticipating the arrival of her first baby, our client wanted to finally update the very outdated 1960's ranch home she and her husband had bought several years prior. She is an avid baker and loves an open concept kitchen.

We took the compartmentalized space and blew out a few walls, thus creating a ton of flow and much needed visual relief. The main living and dining space had some good bones, but we did discover that the original stone veneer on the fireplace was encased in plaster and we just had to uncover and restore it to all its retro glory.   That plus a cool remote recessed movie screen and the fireplace was ready to entertain.
